Baby News

Our good friends Ryan and Tara just announced that they are expecting their first child! This is great news and we are so happy for them! The due date is June 25 which is also their wedding anniversary! Talk about meant to be! Lots of friends are having babies and were are SO happy for them all!

Addy's new Trick

Addy has learned that if she climbs up on her Little Mermaid ride that she can balance while holding the steering wheel. She is our little climber lately. She climbs on everything. She got this Mickey Mouse chair from Uncle Bryan for her birthday and tries to climb on that, but mostly she will just sit and watch TV in it. It is the cutest thing ever. Well today was my last day of the week of work. I thought today was going to be bad because Addy was going to have to be with me the whole time, but it actually worked out pretty nice and she even fell asleep the last 45 min of being in there with me. I was grateful that it went smoothly. Sometimes it can get pretty crazy in there. I am very thankful that I found this job. Tomorrow we are headed to a craft show with my mom. It should be a good time and probably our last Craft show of the year.

Thanksgiving Week

We had a really great holiday. Jay's mom came down Wednesday night and brought Addy a new dress that she got to wear on Thanksgiving and also some other goodies. Thursday we celebrated Thanksgiving at my Aunts house. It turned out to be a pretty nice day. The rest of the weekend was pretty much spent shopping and spending time with family. We did our traditional tree decorating at my parents house on Saturday night and ordered pizza like we always do. It was fun seeing Addy around the christmas tree and trying to help Grandpa. She got a little cold as well and we hated seeing her like that. Luckily it looks like she is getting better. Thank goodness because I hated seeing her sick. Hope everyone had a great holiday weekend!

New job for Jen

Well I had my first day of work at a new job. I am working at the fitness club by our house in the daycare center. The great thing is I am able to bring Addy to work with me. This is the best opportunity ever. It isn't a full time thing, but every little bit helps. My first day was really good and tomorrow I will take Addy with me. I think she will like playing with other kids. I am excited about this great opportunity!

Happy 15 months to Addison

We can hardly believe our little girl is 15 months. My how the time flies. We had a very busy day today. We went to my cousin's baby shower. She is having a girl. It was fun to see the whole family and to get Addy together with her other cousins Spencer and Olivia. Spencer is almost 10 months and Olivia is almost 4 months old. They are both so cute and it was fun seeing them all together. It is hard to try to get a picture of all of them especially when all Addy wants to do is run and run around. I can hardly believe Thanksgiving is this week. Time flies.

Is that Screech from Saved by The Bell?

Yes it is, although sure doesn't act like Screech. So Jay and I went to Zanies Comedy Club last night and saw Dustin Diamond. Let's just say when we picked up our tickets the women at the box office goes just so you know, his show is very R rated! We are like ok yeah we know. So then they get ready to seat us and they ask us if we would like the table up front or one row back. Jay speaks up and says we would like the one up front. Ok so here we are in the first row of tables sitting at the center table. I was a little nervous since being up on stage usually the performers go to the front row people to make comments. I was half right.
They had two other people on before him that were pretty good and then when they announced him it was so surreal to see Screech from SBTB standing in front of me. First of all he starts of the show swearing and he says you are all probably thinking Screech said F$#& and guess what I will say it again. He made a couple of SBTB references. It was amusing for me since I was a HUGE SBTB fan. I think all and all it was a great experience. He was very entertaining and left us laughing so hard so that is the whole point of going to a comedy club? At one point he looks down to me and said you are a pretty good looking girl...I was like did Screech just say that? Ha another surreal moment. Anyway I am glad Jay suggested it and if I had the chance to see him again, I probably would. So if any of you ever have the chance to see him I would say do it. Come out it is a once in a lifetime experience to see Screech up close.

Visit with Natalie and Keira

Today Natalie and Keira came over. We were so excited since we haven't seen them in awhile. Keira is so cute. She is walking and talking now. Her voice is so cute. I got such a kick out of it. It was so different having them together at this age then when we first had them together when they were only 4 months old. I have some pictures from todays visit, but unfortunatly the closest they would get is when they were watching the Backyardigans. We tried for Natalie to hold them both, but Keira didn't want anyone by her mother. The funny thing is when Keira was in my lap she didn't want Addy near me either. I know it is a phase and they will always be close friends.
Here are some pics from our visit today as well as some from the first time they met till now. Warning Picture Overload

Addy fun

We had a busy weekend. Addy and I went to my parents for dinner Saturday night since Jay had to work that night and also Sunday. Addy had fun playing with Auntie Katie and Grandpa. She loves to laugh and when she does it is so hilarious. You can't help laughing yourself. I only wish I would have gotten a video of her laughing. She was just all over the place.
Here are some pictures to share.

Happy Birthday Dad!

Today is my dad's birthday! We hope he has a wonderful day!!!!

Visit with Friends

Today Addy and I had a visit with two of my highschool friends. We got to meet my friend Becky's daughter Gabi. She is so adorable and so little. I forget how Addy was at that age. It was good to see Becky again. Stacy and Parker also came and it is always so much fun to see Parker too. We have gotten to see a lot of him lately between moms groups and playgroups. We are trying to get all that time in before Stacy goes back to work. Here are some pics of our visit. The one of the three of them didn't work too well. Addy didn't want to sit for very long and the other two kept sliding to one side. Still so cute to have them all together. I still can not believe we are old enough to have kids!

Great News

I just found out that my close friend Lara is PREGNANT! I am super excited for her and her husband Ian! She is due in May and I am just so happy for them! They are going to make amazing parents! Congrats to both of them!

Weekend

We had a pretty good weekend. Friday night we went out to dinner with my parents and grandparents. Addy was of course a perfect angel. She seems to always be good when my parents are out to dinner with us. Saturday we were meeting my friend Jonna and her daughter Evie in Schaumburg for lunch and to go to the mall. It was fun to see them. We hadn't seen them since July I believe. Addy and Evie have both grown up so much since we last got them together. We stopped by the Disney Doorway to Dreams store that of course the girls are both big fans of Mickey so we were hoping to see some characters there, but none were there. The girls did get some Mickey stickers that they loved and we attempted to get a picture of them in front of the Goofy Statue. It is hard to get them both to look. That night we had a Halloween Party so my parents watched Addy and that was nice. Sunday my mom and I went to a craft show and that was a lot of fun. We found some cute gifts. She got Addy her first apron with her own little spoon, spatula and roller. She is going to love it for when it is time to bake cookies! We have a busy week coming up and looking forward to seeing some friends.
