Welcome Ethan John Hunt!!!

Ethan John Hunt was born this morning weighing in at only 3lbs and 13 oz. He was due in August, but decided he was ready to meet Mom and Dad sooner than later. He is just the cutest little thing. We are so happy for Alison and Matt. We are thinking and praying for their family, but according to their family website Ethan is doing really well. Congrats!!

Welcome Kate Elizabeth Prairie!!!

Well it seems my friends are having babies like crazy these days. Kate Elizabeth was born on June 21st. She weighed in at 8 lbs-6.5 oz and was 22 inches long. She joins her two big brothers Alex and Jack. I am so happy for Gregg and Kendra and so happy they have their girl!!!

Welcome Dylan William Broich

Dylan William was born June 23rd. He was 8 lbs 11 oz and 19.5 inches long. We are so happy for Tara and Ryan. We wish them the best! He is adorable and we can't wait to meet him!

Work From Home

Many of you know that I work part time at a health club in the daycare which has been a true blessing for us, but I am currently looking for something else to do on top of this that I am able to do from home. I am not really sure what that would be, maybe data entry or I have no idea? I am just letting people I know just in case they hear of anything. I would appreciate it! I trained for a couple of months to do medical billing, but then that kind of fell thru. Anyway let me know if you hear of anything.

Ok so I have gotten into Scrapbooking even more ever since I went to a Creative Memories party with my friend Arlyn. The stuff is on the pricey side, but I don't have a problem just using my own stuff that I buy at random stores. I am really into it especially since I have a friend that is really into it. When I say into it , I mean she has so much stuff I don't know how she keeps track of everything. We are going to try to do weekly scrapbooking nights at her house. I am looking forward to a little "me" time. With being pretty much a stay at home mom things can get crazy at times and sometimes you just need that mom time! Thankfully Jay is understanding and knows that this is my own outlet to have time to myself and relax. I really want to keep it up as much as I can and I think these weekly scrapbooking nights will help me for sure. It is really important I feel for everyone to have a hobby or something that they like to do. Even moms need some time by themselves.

Visiting Friends

Today Addy and I had a busy day. We went over to my friend Arlyn's house to play with her two kids and ate lunch there. Then this afternoon we went to visit our friends Natalie, Keira and Owen. It was so much fun to see them again although Addy wasn't on her best behavior, probably tired from missing her nap. It was a lot of fun to see them and I also loved the outfit Addy wore today along with her pigtails...it is my favorite thing to be able to do her hair now. :)

Father's Day

We had a great Father's day. Jay was able to go golfing with my dad and brother. Papa couldn't go because he hurt his back. It was too bad for him, but they will play again with him. Addy and I hung out with my mom and Addy. We had a great dinner and an all around great day. We were able to get some great pictures from today. Addy has long enough hair to get some really good pigtails, it was so much fun for me to fix her hair. Enjoy the pics and hope all the father's out there had a wonderful day! Randall Oaks Farm

Today Addy and I went to Randall Oaks Farm with my mom, grandparents, my Aunt Karen, cousin Stacy and her son Spencer. It was a lot of fun, but Addy wasn't too sure what to think about the animals considering they are right there wanting to get fed. Spencer loved it and would walk right up to them. It was fun hanging out with everyone. The rest of the day my mom and I ran errands which is always fun and then we went back to hang out with my dad. We took a lot of pictures from today these are the best ones.

It is my sister's birthday today and I want to wish her a very Happy Birthday! I am so lucky to have her as my sister! She always is there when you need her! She deserves to have a great day!

Weekend

Well this past weekend we stayed at my parents house while Jay went down to Peoria to hang out with some fraternity brothers. Addy and I had fun at my parents house. She loved playing with Uncle Bryan and tickling Grandpa's feet. We went to breakfast Saturday morning with Grandpa and it was a lot of fun. She was really good. Then that afternoon we had a cousins grad party to go to so Addy got to meet some cousins she never had met before. She just loved being outside and running around. Sunday we went shopping with my mom and tried not to get wet because of all the storms. It was a fun weekend. Here are some pics from our weekend!

Girls Night

So I am super excited for tonight my friend Arlyn and I are having a girls night going out for dinner and drinks. It has been a LONG time since I have gone out with just my friends without our children. Arlyn and I both decided that we needed to get out and have time away. Since it is summer time Jay has summer hours so he will be able to be home to watch Addy. I need this time where I can have a conversation without having to worry about anyone else. It should be a good time! I think it is important for women to be able to have this time with their friends especially when you are with your kids all the time.

Weekend

It was a beautiful weekend. Jay and I enjoyed being able to be outside and work in the yard while Addy slept. I am getting better with gardening, but still not an expert yet. I am just hoping to keep all the flowers alive. :) Saturday afternoon we had two graduation parties to go to. One was my cousin Tara grad party from highschool and another one was a family friend. We had a fun time at my cousins. We were able to see family members we hadn't seen since Christmas..if you can believe that. Addy loved it of course because she was outside. She got to hang out with her cousin Spencer, although at their age they don't really play with each other. I tried to get some pics of them, but it was a little hard with them moving so much. Oh well. She also thought it was fun to feed her Papa some of her sandwich. She was very good at sharing. She was just so cute.

We also were able to visit a park this weekend too which Addy loves. It is fun to visit different parks. Today Addy and I were able to visit another park and then go on a nice long walk which was really nice. It is nice to be able to get out. Well enjoy the pics, need to figure out what I am making for dinner.
