Trimming the Tree

The day after Thanksgiving we did our tradition of going to my parents to help decorate their tree and have pizza for dinner. It was so fun, because Addy got so into it this year! She loved helping!

Thanksgiving

We had a very nice casual Thanksgiving. Luckily we were able to relax a lot and just enjoy the company of family. Here are some pictures from the day.

31 Weeks and counting

I can not believe I am almost 32 weeks. My doctor appointments are already every 2 weeks and pretty soon I will be going every week. We feel truly blessed that all this is happening for us. I am also very blessed for my job opportunity and how I was able to get promoted to this new position. Also not only that, but that my manager had so much trust in me to want me for this position. I will be taking some maternity leave when the baby comes , but she knew she would be losing me for a couple of months and still had her total faith in me that I am the best person for the job. I look forward to what a great opportunity this brings for me. I can not believe it is almost Thanksgiving, just a couple weeks will be Christmas, then our little baby will be here! We are so excited to meet our new little addition to our family!

Big Sister

Jungle Bus

Addy was invited to a birthday party and they had the coolest thing. It was called the Jungle Bus. Addy had a blast and loved playing with all the kids. Here are some pictures I snapped of this fun birthday party!

In our Prayers

My dad called me this morning to let me know of some sad news. My cousin Tim passed away last night. He had been battling liver cancer for a couple months now and lost his battle last night. My heart goes out to his wife Kris and his two children Allison and Danny. Please keep their family in your prayers during this difficult time.

New Pictures

I haven't posted in a little bit. Times sure have been crazier lately. I recently got a little promotion at work that hasn't totally happened yet. I am the new Childcare Evening Leader at my job. I will be working 4 nights a week and every other Saturday. Although since we are short with the morning staff, my manager is needing to hire someone to take my shift before I can move over. Let's hope they find someone soon. I have been able to work Tuesdays and Thursdays doing the leader position in the morning since the Day Leader doesn't work those days and will start my Saturdays this weekend. I am just really anxious to start my new position and learn from this great opportunity!

Also I knew this second pregnancy would be different from my first, but I am definitely getting tired more quickly lately. I have realized that doing simple things like just walking up the stairs is a lot harder than it used to be, by the time I get to the top I am so exhausted. Believe me I am forever blessed being pregnant and I can't wait to meet our new little addition in January. We still have a lot to do to get ready for baby #2 and with the holidays coming up I know the time will just fly by. I can hardly believe that in 10 weeks we will be meeting our new baby! I have added some new pictures of Addison. We go to church every Sunday and she loves going and thanks to my mom I have picked up some pretty cute dresses for her so she always looks cute! More Fun in the Leaves

I don't know why, but I really love pictures taken in the leaves. Maybe because I remember how fun as a kid it was to jump and play in the leaves. We played again in the leaves and Addy loved it. Here are some of my favorites!

Yesterday Jay was working in the yard and he promised Addy that she could jump in the leaves. Well she took full advantage of that and had a blast. I got some great pictures of her and Jay playing in the leaves.

Visit with Friends

Last night we had our friends Michelle, Ron and Bella over for dinner and a nice visit. Addy had a blast playing with Bella, they got along so well. Here are some pictures we got of our nice visit.

Halloween pictures

Addy had a lot of fun on Halloween this year! After she got the hang of it she was all about getting candy. There were some costumes that she saw that she wasn't too fond of, but for the most part she loved seeing the other kids out. If only had been a little warmer, but at least it wasn't raining.
