Christmas

Christmas was even more fun with Addy this year. She of course was a good girl all year and received a lot of great gifts from Santa and family. As you can imagine we have a lot of pictures from that day, but here are just a couple of them.

Merry Christmas

We want to wish everyone a very happy and memorable Christmas. We are looking forward to our Christmas Eve with Christmas Mass and dinner at my parents house with watching a new Christmas movie this year. Then on Christmas Day my mom's whole family will be at my parents house. I can't wait to see how Addy reacts to Christmas this year!!

Our Baby is now 16 months

I can remember when she was 6 months. Where is oue little baby? She is growing more and more every day and developing her own personality. The other night we took her to a Winter Teddy Music Festival and she LOVED it. We got some pictures of her although it was tough to get a good picture because she was running around the whole time. After the sing-a-long they had cookies and drinks and she sure loved that cookie after running around the whole time. I really think she is enjoying this holiday season!

Visit with Santa and fun in the snow

We went to see Santa yesterday and Addy wasn't as excited to see him as I was. Perhaps next year will be better. Here is a picture of that along with an adorable one of her playing in the snow. As you can see she is pretty much all bundled up. It was amazing that she could move at all.

Cookies and Christmas Bread

So this weekend we were busy baking cookies and the Christmas Breads with my family. My mom got Addy her own apron at a craft show and it comes with mini spoons and rolling pins. It is too cute. She loved it. Here are some pictures of her and one of 4 generations. We were lucky to get one with all of us looking.

Some new pictures of Addy

So I haven't posted new pictures in awhile and thought I would. I tried for the first time to do pigtails on Addy and you will notice they aren't very even, but the fact that I was able to put them in her hair is a miracle. It is even more of a miracle that she kept them in for awhile. I just can not wait for her to get more hair. Here are some pictures of her cute hair, can you tell I am excited about it? Here is also a picture of Addy climbing the stairs and looking thru the stockings.

Meeting a New Friend

I have been behind on posts, but last week we met a new friend. My friend Candy, she goes by Candace now but I know her as Candy, she just had a baby girl Tessa a couple of months ago. She is precious and so adorable. We have been trying to meet up for awhile and hopefully we will have another playdate soon.

Great news for Jay

Jay just got his best Christmas Present ever, he received a job offer from Sears Corporate Center. He will be starting his new job in January. We are so proud of him and so happy that this opportunity has come along. He deserves this job so much especially after being with Sprint for 6 years. This will be a great, fresh new start for a new year! We feel very blessed during this holiday season!

Fred Claus

Jay and I had a pretty fun day yesterday. My mom watched Addy in the afternoon so we could run some errands and go see a movie. So despite all the choices out now we decided to keep in the holiday spirit and see Fred Claus with Vince Vaughn. We both love every movie that Vince has been in so we didn't think he would disappoint us. We were right. I thought the movie was a great addition to my already favorite holiday. Vince was his same funny self and really brought the movie to life. Paul Giamatti played an amazing Santa Claus. The movie had a great storyline and message and by the end I was a little teary-eyed. I know what you are thinking, but I guess I am a little emotional these days. I just love those type of holiday movies. Christmas is the best time of year for everything.
Addy is having a lot of fun looking at snowman everywhere along with playing with the ornaments on the tree. She of course loves to take them off the tree and bring them to either one of us and then wants to put them back on the tree. She definitely adds a lot more to this holiday season. We enjoy seeing her get excited about all the new things she sees. She still isn't quite talking yet...well talking in a language we can understand, but she sure has a lot to say in her own.

Addy's 1st Haircut

Addy had her first haircut the day before Thanksgiving. It was really only her bangs that got cut. We went to the hair place after she was at the doctor for her shots so obviously she wasn't too happy, but the bangs were way too long. The same stylist that did my hair for my wedding was the same guy that gave Addy her first haircut. That was pretty cool.
It is so much better now that we can see her pretty little face.

Baby News

Our good friends Ryan and Tara just announced that they are expecting their first child! This is great news and we are so happy for them! The due date is June 25 which is also their wedding anniversary! Talk about meant to be! Lots of friends are having babies and were are SO happy for them all!

Addy's new Trick

Addy has learned that if she climbs up on her Little Mermaid ride that she can balance while holding the steering wheel. She is our little climber lately. She climbs on everything. She got this Mickey Mouse chair from Uncle Bryan for her birthday and tries to climb on that, but mostly she will just sit and watch TV in it. It is the cutest thing ever. Well today was my last day of the week of work. I thought today was going to be bad because Addy was going to have to be with me the whole time, but it actually worked out pretty nice and she even fell asleep the last 45 min of being in there with me. I was grateful that it went smoothly. Sometimes it can get pretty crazy in there. I am very thankful that I found this job. Tomorrow we are headed to a craft show with my mom. It should be a good time and probably our last Craft show of the year.

Thanksgiving Week

We had a really great holiday. Jay's mom came down Wednesday night and brought Addy a new dress that she got to wear on Thanksgiving and also some other goodies. Thursday we celebrated Thanksgiving at my Aunts house. It turned out to be a pretty nice day. The rest of the weekend was pretty much spent shopping and spending time with family. We did our traditional tree decorating at my parents house on Saturday night and ordered pizza like we always do. It was fun seeing Addy around the christmas tree and trying to help Grandpa. She got a little cold as well and we hated seeing her like that. Luckily it looks like she is getting better. Thank goodness because I hated seeing her sick. Hope everyone had a great holiday weekend!

New job for Jen

Well I had my first day of work at a new job. I am working at the fitness club by our house in the daycare center. The great thing is I am able to bring Addy to work with me. This is the best opportunity ever. It isn't a full time thing, but every little bit helps. My first day was really good and tomorrow I will take Addy with me. I think she will like playing with other kids. I am excited about this great opportunity!

Happy 15 months to Addison

We can hardly believe our little girl is 15 months. My how the time flies. We had a very busy day today. We went to my cousin's baby shower. She is having a girl. It was fun to see the whole family and to get Addy together with her other cousins Spencer and Olivia. Spencer is almost 10 months and Olivia is almost 4 months old. They are both so cute and it was fun seeing them all together. It is hard to try to get a picture of all of them especially when all Addy wants to do is run and run around. I can hardly believe Thanksgiving is this week. Time flies.

Is that Screech from Saved by The Bell?

Yes it is, although sure doesn't act like Screech. So Jay and I went to Zanies Comedy Club last night and saw Dustin Diamond. Let's just say when we picked up our tickets the women at the box office goes just so you know, his show is very R rated! We are like ok yeah we know. So then they get ready to seat us and they ask us if we would like the table up front or one row back. Jay speaks up and says we would like the one up front. Ok so here we are in the first row of tables sitting at the center table. I was a little nervous since being up on stage usually the performers go to the front row people to make comments. I was half right.
They had two other people on before him that were pretty good and then when they announced him it was so surreal to see Screech from SBTB standing in front of me. First of all he starts of the show swearing and he says you are all probably thinking Screech said F$#& and guess what I will say it again. He made a couple of SBTB references. It was amusing for me since I was a HUGE SBTB fan. I think all and all it was a great experience. He was very entertaining and left us laughing so hard so that is the whole point of going to a comedy club? At one point he looks down to me and said you are a pretty good looking girl...I was like did Screech just say that? Ha another surreal moment. Anyway I am glad Jay suggested it and if I had the chance to see him again, I probably would. So if any of you ever have the chance to see him I would say do it. Come out it is a once in a lifetime experience to see Screech up close.

Visit with Natalie and Keira

Today Natalie and Keira came over. We were so excited since we haven't seen them in awhile. Keira is so cute. She is walking and talking now. Her voice is so cute. I got such a kick out of it. It was so different having them together at this age then when we first had them together when they were only 4 months old. I have some pictures from todays visit, but unfortunatly the closest they would get is when they were watching the Backyardigans. We tried for Natalie to hold them both, but Keira didn't want anyone by her mother. The funny thing is when Keira was in my lap she didn't want Addy near me either. I know it is a phase and they will always be close friends.
Here are some pics from our visit today as well as some from the first time they met till now. Warning Picture Overload
