Praying for GG

We have been keeping Grandma/GG in our thoughts this week as she has been in the hospital since the weekend and had surgery on Wednesday. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery!!! We love you GG!

Coloring Easter Eggs

Yesterday the kids had fun coloring Easter Eggs. Austen was able to do it this year all by himself and he thought that was pretty cool! They did a great job! Check out our pictures from this fun activity!

The smallest thing can make a huge difference!!

This week has been a really good week! Why you ask? There really isn't one big thing that happened, but I guess a lot of little things. It started with on Sunday when a friend took me shopping to get some new clothes for myself and as she helped me pick out outfits it was really nice having someone just put their attention on me. I felt like a whole new person when I tried on these new clothes. I just couldn't believe that finding out I can wear and fit into colored skinny pants could make me feel so much better!

Monday I had to work and a lot of people know how I have been having some trouble with Austen knowing when you use his words instead of his arms when playing with friends. This week was different, he did amazing and the week just kept getting better and better. He was playing with friends and having a great time. I am so happy that he is loving being at my work, it makes things so much better for me too!!!

I am also blessed with the best family and friends I could ask for! Thank you for adding to my good week! Here is to the weekend!!!

Raz-Kids

Addison recently got a new homework assignment where she has to read certain books that her teacher has picked out. We are lucky that Addison loves to do homework. She only has 1 more book to read from her assignment and there were a total of 19 books. I am so proud of her. I sit and listen to her read these books and I am amazed. She really has come so far since she has started kindergarten. I am so happy that she loves school so much and is really getting as much as she should be getting out of it!

Where have we been??

Wow, It has been way too long since I have posted. I am sorry for that. I used to be so good at updating and posting pictures. I guess things have been a little busy. I will update on what has been going on. 
Addison is loving every minute of kindergarten. She loves her teacher, which is such an amazing feeling! We were so nervous at her starting kindergarten, but after meeting her teacher we knew we had nothing to worry about. Jay and I constantly look at her and try to figure out when she got so big?! She is writing sentences and the way she talks, wow she is not a toddler anymore. She is also in Daisy's this year and just finished her first Cookie Sale. She loved it! I am so proud of her and loving the fact she loves Girl Scouts just like I did. She also got to go bowling with Dad for a date night with Daisy's. They had a lot of fun!  
Austen is also getting bigger. I can not believe he is 3 and when I look at him I wonder where that tiny little baby went. He is saying more and most of the time he won't stop talking. He is very into dinosaurs right now and loves anything dinosaurs. In February we had a little scare with him, where he was so dehydrated that we had to take him to the hospital to get hooked up to IVs thank goodness everything was fine and we were able to leave that night.  We are very much looking forward to spring where we can go outside and go to the park. Tickets have been purchased for Florida and we are really excited for that!  The time seems to go so much faster now with Addison in school and pretty soon we will be registering her for 1st grade!?!?! Austen will be going to preschool this fall at the same preschool Addison went to. Seriously where has the time gone?!?! Well I have included some pictures of the kids as well! Hopefully I will be able to keep this updated!
