Wedding Out of town

We were in Indiana over the weekend for Jay's cousin's wedding. We had a lot of fun and saw a lot of family. Addy had a lot of fun playing with her cousin Riley and dancing the night away at the reception. She was by far the life of the party between Jay and myself. :)Here are some pictures to share. Visit with friends

Today was a pretty busy day, we had a lot to do and get done before our trip to Indiana tomorrow, but we were glad that my friend Stacy and her son Parker came for a visit. Stacy and I went to school together grade school thru Highschool, but lost touch after that. We got reconnected last year when we had our 10 year Highschool Reunion. It was a lot of fun to see old classmates. Of course there were some people I would have been okay if I hadn't seen them again. I am glad though the reunion got Stacy and I back in touch. She is really such a sweet and fun person. I feel like we are a lot alike and have even more in common now that we both have children. I hope that we can keep our friendship growing, now we just need to get our husbands together so we all can go out to dinner.
Her son Parker is so adorable and Addy was so cute going up to him and holding his hand. I got a cute picture of that. Stacy and I just chatted and before we knew it a couple of hours had gone by. It is so nice to have someone to chat with about the same things that you are going through. Addy would have wished Parker could have played with her more, but he was for sure watching everywhere she went. I can't wait to get together with them again.


We are off tomorrow to a family wedding. It should be a good time. Hopefully the car ride goes good!

Happy 4 year Anniversary!!

I can not believe it has already been 4 years that Jay and I have been married. We had an Amazing Wedding and Reception. Everything went perfect and it was an amazing day overall. It was the best party ever! I feel so lucky that thru all our ups and downs we have made it through. Lately it seems things are more stressed than normal, but we are blessed to have such a happy and healthy little girl and to have our own health.
It seems like we have been together forever, but we did date for a long time before we got married since we first met when I transferred to Bradley in 98. Wow seems so long ago. So much has happened since then. We are planning on going out for a nice dinner tonight while my family watches Addy.

Our honeymoon was in St. Lucia at the Grande St. Lucian Resort. I sure wish we were leaving for that. It was the best trip ever.

We had a nice day today. We went out to lunch with my mom and grandparents and then went to the grocery store for some things. Well this grocery store had little carts for kids to push. Addy was thrilled. She loves helping me push the cart when I am holding her so she was so excited to have one her own size. She really enjoys walking and being out where she can run and talk with other people. She really is such a happy girl! While we were at lunch she was just smiling and talking to other customers.

It is amazing how much she is developing her own little personality every day. I just look at her as she walks over to me and holds out her arms for me to pick her up....how did we get so lucky?

Meeting A New Friend

This past weekend we went to visit our friends Katie and Alan and to meet baby Alyvia. She is so precious and Addy was excited to meet her new friend. We can just see Alyvia, Addy and Evie going to school at Bradley University and causing just as much (if not more) trouble than their moms did. We also got to see our friend Caroline who we haven't seen in a long time. It was a nice visit and hoping it can happen more often.
