Weekend

This past Sunday we went down to the city for my parents anniversary and my sister Emily met us there. It was Addy's first train ride and she did pretty good. Well the way down there she fell asleep and on the way back she was good for awhile, but started to want to get down. We went to Millenium Park. We saw the Bean and walked all around. We ended up in a kid's activity tent. They had different things for the kids to do. Addy loved playing with the hula hoops and throwing the balls from the buckets game. For lunch we went to Dick's Last Resort where there was a Beatles Cover band playing and too bad we didn't eat out by them but Addy LOVED them. She couldn't take her eyes off of them. It was too cute. She definitly is like her mom with music and the stage. After that we went down to Navy Pier and walked around. All and all it was a fun day and glad we could all be together to celebrate my parent's anniversary. Check out some of the pics!

Welcome Ethan John Hunt!!!

Ethan John Hunt was born this morning weighing in at only 3lbs and 13 oz. He was due in August, but decided he was ready to meet Mom and Dad sooner than later. He is just the cutest little thing. We are so happy for Alison and Matt. We are thinking and praying for their family, but according to their family website Ethan is doing really well. Congrats!!

Welcome Kate Elizabeth Prairie!!!

Well it seems my friends are having babies like crazy these days. Kate Elizabeth was born on June 21st. She weighed in at 8 lbs-6.5 oz and was 22 inches long. She joins her two big brothers Alex and Jack. I am so happy for Gregg and Kendra and so happy they have their girl!!!

Welcome Dylan William Broich

Dylan William was born June 23rd. He was 8 lbs 11 oz and 19.5 inches long. We are so happy for Tara and Ryan. We wish them the best! He is adorable and we can't wait to meet him!

Work From Home

Many of you know that I work part time at a health club in the daycare which has been a true blessing for us, but I am currently looking for something else to do on top of this that I am able to do from home. I am not really sure what that would be, maybe data entry or I have no idea? I am just letting people I know just in case they hear of anything. I would appreciate it! I trained for a couple of months to do medical billing, but then that kind of fell thru. Anyway let me know if you hear of anything.

Ok so I have gotten into Scrapbooking even more ever since I went to a Creative Memories party with my friend Arlyn. The stuff is on the pricey side, but I don't have a problem just using my own stuff that I buy at random stores. I am really into it especially since I have a friend that is really into it. When I say into it , I mean she has so much stuff I don't know how she keeps track of everything. We are going to try to do weekly scrapbooking nights at her house. I am looking forward to a little "me" time. With being pretty much a stay at home mom things can get crazy at times and sometimes you just need that mom time! Thankfully Jay is understanding and knows that this is my own outlet to have time to myself and relax. I really want to keep it up as much as I can and I think these weekly scrapbooking nights will help me for sure. It is really important I feel for everyone to have a hobby or something that they like to do. Even moms need some time by themselves.
