Playdate with Keira and Natalie

Today we had a very busy day. Addy's best friend Keira came over to play. I had put Addy down for an earlier nap so she was sleeping when they arrived, but was excited to see both Natalie and Keira when she woke up. It is fun to watch them. Keira really liked playing with the baby doll and was very loving with the baby. It is good she is like that since she has a little brother on the way. One big thing that Addy and Keira have in common is they both LOVE Dora the Explorer. They both get really excited to see Dora. We had such a nice visit and it is always nice when you have kids that will play together that way the moms can talk. They also loved running and chasing each other. The cutest was when they said goodbye. They gave each other a bunch of hugs, of course my camera is so slow so I tried to capture it. Keira is talking a lot so she would go up to Addy wave and say Bye Addy. It was adorable! Hope you enjoy the pictures!

Addy Swimming Lessons

Addy had her swimming lessons start this weekend. We can safely say that she is not afraid of the water. She wanted to go on by herself without any help from mom. She was by far way more advanced then the other kids. She didn't like being held. She was ready to go swim on her own. She would also turn around to smile at Dad and Grandpa. She loves the attention. :)
She definitly wore mom out that is for sure. We are of course already looking forward to next weekend. This week will be a busy week for us as I am working M-Th so she will be with me every day at work. She for sure should be tired, but the end of the day.
We are just praying for some warm weather soon!

Weekend

This weekend went by so fast. We didn't really do too much. It was nice to just do some relaxing. We of course got some cute pics of Addy over the weekend. Hope everyone is staying warm! Enjoy the pics.

Addy is 18 months old

Today Addy is 18 months old. Time seems to be flying by so fast. I am just so grateful that she is feeling better than last week. She really is learning so much every day. One of my most favorite times of the day is when she knows it is time for bed and runs to give Jay a kiss and a big hug and then runs to me so I can pick her up and take her to bed. She then will wave to jay to tell him night. When we get up to her room she knows that I turn her sound machine on and then she turns to give me a kiss. We read 2 books and then she knows it is time for bed. She is our little angel. Here are some pictures to share. She makes it very hard these days for me to take a picture of her. I think she gets sick of mom always snapping pictures..I can't help it. :)

Weekend

This weekend is going a lot better than our week was. Addy is much better and that just makes us both so happy. We had a great Valentine's night. Jay brought home flowers for his girls and Addy loved them. He also gave her two cute little board books one was a Disney baby book (for those of you who don't know she loves all mickey characters) and a cute Love bug color one. She really likes the little books. We also order Lou Malnatis famous Heart Shaped Pizza along with some great bruschetta for our dinner. Addy was feeling so good she wanted some of the pizza. Who could blame her? We are just so happy that she is feeling better and I know she is glad that she doesn't have that nasty cold anymore.
Now if only this cold weather would just stop. Is it springtime yet???

Happy Valentine's Day

It has been awhile since I have posted, but our little Addison has been under the weather all week and is now finally getting better. It was so hard to see her like that. Jay and I are just so happy that she is feeling better! We also wanted to announce that our friends Alison and Matt are expecting their first child on August 19, 2008!!! We are so excited for them! They are also not finding out the sex of the baby so it will be a surprise! Who knows could be born on Addy's birthday! I swear this is the year for babies! We know so many people having babies this year. We also wanted to wish everyone a Happy Valentine's Day!

Visiting Dad at Work

Today we went to go visit Jay at his work and have lunch. Addy was so excited right when we saw Jay. It was so cute. She of course wanted to run around the whole building. We had a great time seeing where Jay works and the Sears building is amazing and so big. He took us to all the different parts of the main area and then we had lunch. So many choices in their cafeteria. It is just like a food court. Addy had fun eating and enjoying some of Mom's pizza. Then we went back to Jay's desk so we could see where he works. As you can tell from the pictures Addy had fun sitting where Dad sits and typing. We were glad we were able to get out there to see his building.
