Welcome Owen Daniel Battershield

While we were in Florida my good friend Natalie had her second child a baby boy. He weighed in at 7lbs 1 oz and was 18 inches long. I am hoping to meet him later this week. We are so happy for Natalie and Justin and we know Keira will be a great big sister.

Welcome Isla Maria Mclellan!

I just got the news that my good friend Lara and her husband Ian welcomed their first child Isla Maria Mclellan born Sunday May 11th. She weighed in at 8lbs and 20.5 inches long. We are so happy for both of them!!!!!

Fun Day

Tuesdays are always good days because I don't have to work. Today we ran some errands this morning and as we were walking down an aisle at Target I heard Addy make some noise and was pointing well I noticed that she was saying Dog and pointing to a dog. Now that I knew what she was pointing at I could understand what she was saying. She was so excited about it. Then we were in another part of target where they had pictures of the Target dog spot or whatever his name is and she kept saying it over and over again. I was so happy for her and of course proud.
We also had a playdate today with Christina and her daughter Mia. We met at the health club I work at. It was fun to see them again and always nice to get out of the house.

Welcome Nolan

Lots of baby news!! My college friend Katie and her husband Eric just had their first baby. It's a boy! They welcomed Nolan Kurt Fischer born on December 29th. Nolan weighed in at 7lbs 13 oz and was 20.5 inches long. We are so happy for them. We can't wait to meet Nolan.

Baby News

We have just heard news that Jay's cousin Matt and his wife Maranda are expecting their first child in late August! We are so happy for them and wish them a very happy and healthy pregnancy!!!! We have so many friends and family that are expecting this year! We are so happy for them all!

Great news for Jay

Jay just got his best Christmas Present ever, he received a job offer from Sears Corporate Center. He will be starting his new job in January. We are so proud of him and so happy that this opportunity has come along. He deserves this job so much especially after being with Sprint for 6 years. This will be a great, fresh new start for a new year! We feel very blessed during this holiday season!

Baby News

Our good friends Ryan and Tara just announced that they are expecting their first child! This is great news and we are so happy for them! The due date is June 25 which is also their wedding anniversary! Talk about meant to be! Lots of friends are having babies and were are SO happy for them all!

New job for Jen

Well I had my first day of work at a new job. I am working at the fitness club by our house in the daycare center. The great thing is I am able to bring Addy to work with me. This is the best opportunity ever. It isn't a full time thing, but every little bit helps. My first day was really good and tomorrow I will take Addy with me. I think she will like playing with other kids. I am excited about this great opportunity!

Great News

I just found out that my close friend Lara is PREGNANT! I am super excited for her and her husband Ian! She is due in May and I am just so happy for them! They are going to make amazing parents! Congrats to both of them!

This week

Not too much is going on this week. We are trying to keep positive and stay busy. I have been searching and applying for a part time job. While Jay has been looking for a new one too. In the middle of everything we are trying to keep up with Addy.

Luckily Addy and I have been pretty busy with visiting with my friend Michelle and her daughter Bella on Monday. Then on Tuesday we met my friend Natalie and Keira for lunch. It is nice to have things to do to keep your mind off of other things. Jay was off yesterday and it is always nice when he has a whole day off from work. He needs it!

This weekend we are looking forward to going to the Pumpkin Patch with my family. We just know Addy will have a fun time. I am sure we will have pictures to post from that!
