Birthday Celebration

Easter Highlights

Austen

We have had a rough week with Austen. He has been battling a bad ear infection and fevers. He seems to slowly be getting better. Yesterday was the first day that he played more than he just cried. He loves just throwing toys around the house, it must be a boy thing. I don't remember Addison doing that as much, but from what I have learned from my mom you only remember the "happy, good memories" about when you had babies. In my mind I can't remember Addy have trouble with teething, crying at night in her crib, or being anything but an amazing baby. Please don't get me wrong, Austen is an amazing little guy, but he is also very much a BOY. I think that is all I need to say. Here are some precious pictures of Austen just being a cute boy!

Easter Egg Hunt

Yesterday we braved the weather and went to an Easter Egg Hunt at the park by our house. Addy was very excited, but of course as soon as it started it started raining and was windy. Austen and I watched Addy start the hunt and then we went in the car to wait for them. Jay and I were glad we went, but we are hoping next year the weather is a little bit nicer. Here are some pics!

Happy 15 months to Austen

I can hardly believe Austen is 15 months old. I can not believe that 15 months ago I was sitting in the hospital getting prepped for my c section and had no idea that I was having this amazing little boy. He is the most amazing little boy. He is always happy and gets so excited when he sees his sister. I feel like more and more he is changing right before my eyes. I have heard that with the second child things happen so much faster since you have another child to take care of. Some of his new things:

-Blowing Kisses with his hand
-Putting his arms up to say all done or where is something he is looking for
-loving Elmo, starts dancing every time he hears the theme song
-loves playing with shape toys and tries to put the right shape back in the right spot
-saying more words...he is starting to say Mama, he started recently saying Nonna, for Mickey it is "Key", I remember Addy saying the same way.
-he is close to walking, but not yet which is fine, because when he starts walking it will be running

We just love our little guy! His smile could melt anyone's heart!

Who Loves Papa More?

Sports Day

It was Sports Day this week at Addy's school. She informed us all that she got two goals in soccer and was the fastest runner when they run the track outside. She also jumped rope and hula hooped. She told us she was the best at all! Gotta Love her!

New Friend

Austen loves it when the cats are out and about. He has been chasing Nala and she doesn't care if he is around her. Here are some cute shots I got of him laying on her. So cute!

While Austen was napping one day, Addy was in the living room with all her dolls and playing grocery with them. It was so cute, I just had to take a picture!
